2022 Chateau de la Selve Berty

From the Chazallon family, owners of the historic Château de la Selve, comes this 2022 "Berty." Located in the Ardèche, the estate is committed to certified organic and biodynamic farming, allowing the unique clay-limestone terroir to truly shine. This powerful and beautifully balanced red is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault. Following a manual harvest, the wine is aged for 18 months in a combination of oak barrels and amphorae, giving it a smooth and ample texture with a long, fresh finish.

Aroma & Palate | A complex and distinguished nose of blackcurrant, spices, and a hint of leather and garrigue. The palate is well-structured with silky tannins and a great length, showing both aromatic depth and freshness.
