From the talented natural winemaker James Erskine of Jauma, comes "Sand on Schist" 2024. This sparkling Chenin Blanc is a testament to the unique Blewitt Springs terroir in South Australia, where vines are rooted in deep white sand over clay and schist. The wine is made from 17-year-old organically managed vines and is a fresh, textural sparkling wine with added complexity from barrel-aged Chenin Blanc from the previous vintage. It is bottled with residual sugar and disgorged over winter to achieve its final sparkling character.
