2021 Savennieres Roche aux Moines

A lovely Chenin Blanc made by the Laroche family, consisting of Monique and Tessa. A powerful sense of place is communicated by this wine. A vineyard bathed in sunshine near the Loire River, planted on schist and sandstone soils, yields grapes with intense, clear fruit and a dazzling acidity that balances it all. Aromas of honeysuckle and acacia fill the air, while the silky texture, layered fruit, and delicate nutty complexity on the palate showcase the wine's graceful development.
